Der Fotograf Di Liu hat eine Fotoserie namens „Animal Regulation“ gestaltet und damit den Lacoste Lacoste Elysée Prize abgeräumt. Daher sind auf den Bilder laut Di Lie auch jeweils drei L.12.12 Shirts versteckt, die ich bisher nicht alle gefunden habe. Aber das ist auch nicht so wichtig. Wichtiger finde ich, dass solche kommerzielle Hintergedanken es jungen Talenten ermöglichen ihre kreativen Ideen zu verwirklichen und damit auch ein breiteres Publikum zu erreichen.

Hier die Worte des Künstlers zu seiner Arbeit: “As consumer merchandise, the L. 12. 12 polo shirt is the exact opposite of nature. however, by choosing an animal as its symbol, lacoste reflects its spirit. thus, lacoste imports an element of nature into people’s daily lives. I do the same in my work and have therefore chosen to let the L. 12. 12 become an integral part of it. if you look very closely, you will notice three polo shirts, one inside each image.”
