To debut my fifth ScrubBoard prototype, I’m doing my take on DJ Jazzy Jeff’s „Peter Piper“ routine. The Scrubboard is a completely handmade tape-scratching device that uses two-inch wide open reel audio tape. It has a dry-erase markable surface on the tape loop so users can mark up their samples. It also features a foot-controlled transport motor, and can record live audio to the tape loop and then scratch it in real time!
