Mit dem Fanmade Video zu Arcade Fire’s Überhit zum gleichnamigen Album verabschiede ich mich heute vom Rechner, setz mir meine Kopfhörer auf, lass mir die letzten ehrlichen Sonnenstrahlen dieses Jahres ins Gesicht scheinen und mich von diesem Song durchleuchten, der mir durch jede Pore geht, meine Nackenhaare elektrisiert zum Firmament schauen lässt, ein Auge zum Weinen, das andere zum Lachen bringt und mich daran erinnert wie viel ärmer ich ohne das Ganze wäre, welches mehr als die Summe der einzelnen Teile ist. Der Film „Over The Edge“ stammt übrigens aus dem Jahre 1979, ist von Jonathan Kaplan und präsentiert uns Matt Dillon in seiner ersten Filmrolle.

„New Grenada is a planned community set in the desert where there is nothing for the kids to do, save for a rec center – which closes at 6 PM.
