Das „Burning Man“ findet seit 1990 im Black Rock Desert / Nevada statt und dürfte weltweit mittlerweile eines der bekanntesten Festivals sein.

Aaron Freeder war 2012 vor Ort und hat einen kleinen Film mit dem Titel „The fire & the ash / Burning Man 2012“ gedreht, der das Event dokumentiert und einen Einblick in den 1-wöchige Ausnahmezustand in der Wüste gewährt.
