Es gibt keinen Film, auf den ich sehnsüchtiger gewartet habe, als „Tree Of Life“ von Terrence Malick. Einer der mysteriösesten und in seinem filmischen Output qualitativ einzigartig und quantitativ zurückhaltendsten Regisseure, der mit seinem Debüt „Badlands“ das New Hollywood Kino Anfang der 70er Jahre mitbegründet und seitdem nur vier weitere Filme gedreht hat.

Auch im Trailer zu „Tree Of Life“ sind viele bekannte Merkmale seiner Filmsprache wieder zu finden. Voice-Overs über impressionistische Bilder, die Frage nach der Beziehung zwischen Mensch und Natur und des Seins an sich. In den Hauptrollen sehen wir Brad Pitt und Sean Penn.
