Die Bacao Rhythm & Steel Band ist ein Ableger der Mighty Mocambos aus Hamburg. Die Band hat seit ihrem Bestehen internationale Aufmerksamkeit mit ihren Coverversionen erlangt. Die Steel Drum geprägten Live-Instrumentationen spiele ich immer wieder mal in meinen Sets, gern auch als Mashup mit den Raps der originalen Versionen.

Nun wurde ein neues Album angekündigt. The Serpent’s Mouth erscheint am 14.09.. Bisher wurden Dr. Dres Xxplosive und Mobb Deeps Burn als 7″ Single veröffentlicht. Die beiden Coverversionen machen wieder mal Spaß und richtig Bock auf’s Album!
