Koen Mortier, der belgische Regisseur und Drehbuchschreibe, der mit „Ex Drummer“ ein provozierend-schockierendes Regiedebüt hingelegt hat, in welchem ein erfolgreicher Schriftsteller eine Band als Drummer begleitet, deren Mitglieder nicht depravierter sein könnten, bringt demnächst sein neues Werk „22 Mei“ heraus. Der Film handelt von einem Security Guard in einer kleinen Shopping Mall, die durch ein Bombenattentat zerstört wird. „… While everything around him is burning, Sam tries his best to help. He drags a woman outside against her will. She is screaming, struggling to get back inside to save her child. But Sam is already back on the scene, trying to rescue other victims, all of them just as helpless as he is.
