Aufgrund hoher Herstellungskosten lohnt das in professioneller Qualität allerdings erst in größeren Stückzahlen. Dubplates sind eine Alternative, aber auch dieser Vorgang ist in der Regel nicht in den eigenen 4 Wänden zu realisieren. Der Phonocut Vinyl Recorder soll das nun ändern. Jedes beliebige Audiomaterial lässt sich in einer Länge von 12 bis 15 Minuten in 10″ Vinyl Rohlinge ritzen. Als individuelle Vinyl. Eine spannende Technik.

Der Phonocut kostet immerhin 1500€ im Crowdfunding, später knapp 2000€. Die Rohlinge kosten 55€ für 10 Stück. Alles nicht ganz günstig, dennoch ist das Ziel des Crowdfunding bereits doppelt erreicht. Der Bedarf ist offensichtlich.

Ein wirklich schönes Gadget. Was ich allerdings nicht verstehe, wie man als Marke die etwas mit Ton oder Musik zu tun hat, Videos von dieser Qualität raus tun kann.
