Ich habe den Rane Twelve bisher nicht wirklich verfolgt, mittlerweile ist das Teil sogar schon vorbestellbar. Der Controller, der weist quasi alle Merkmale eine normalen Turntables auf, abgesehen vom Tonarm.
In letzter Zeit hatte ich so oft mit schlecht gewarteten, einfach runter gerockten Plattenspielern oder auch mit starkem Feedback auf der Bühne zu tun, dass ich überlegt hatte, mir CDJs wenigstens mal für den Notfall anzueignen. Der Rane Twelve ist genau das Gerät für diese Lücke. Der Controller läuft mit einem starken Direktantrieb und echtem Vinyl. Es kann sogar das eigene Slipmat verwendet werden. Es gibt 4 virtuelle Decks, solange die Software es unterstützt und über eine Touchbar kann im Song geskippt werden.
Das Gerät soll 799€ kosten und ist bereits vorbestellbar. Ein ziemlich knackiger Preis für einen Controller, den ich dennoch sehr sehr gern mal testen würde.
Der Mixer auf den Bildern ist der Rane Seventy Two, ein Mixer der dem Pioneer S9 sehr ähnlich sieht, und bald für 2200€ im Handel erscheint.
