Im Netz ging bereits eine gekürzte Version des Clips um, in der es so aussieht, als würde Common ganz spontan in die Freestyle Session eines Strassenmusikers steppen. Das ist natürlich noch einen Hauch charmanter, entspricht allerdings nicht ganz der Wahrheit. Common und Freestyler Ray Wimley kannten sich bereits vor der Session.

Es ändert wiederum nichts an dem Fakt, dass es dope ist.

I was riding down the street a few years ago in New Orleans and ran across this dope street musician named Ray Wimley. What caught my attention was that he was really and truly freestyling! And he was GOOD! So this year at Essence Fest our paths crossed again but this time I joined in. I’m telling y’all right now, he’s special!
