Marinelli war besser vorbereitet als ich und hat Herrn Wonder einen Tribute Mix aus Superstition Cover Versionen gebastelt. Geht bei mir exzellent durch, weil ich den Song einfach dauern hören kann.

The first time I heard „Superstition“ was in the late 80ies when I was at a concert of a local funk & soul band named „Zauberberg“ in Munich. They announced Stevie Wonder as an artist that had inspired them a lot.

I couldn’t believe what i was hearing as Stevie Wonder was a strange old man who’s „I just called to say I love you“ used to annoy for several years at that point. It had been on heavy rotation for a long time on every single radio station in those days.
A few minutes later I couldn’t believe again what I was hearing. The (by the way excellent) band played „Superstition“ and blew me away with it instantly. That moment literally changed my life and got me hooked on funk for the rest of my days.
