Auch wenn DJ Premier in den letzten Jahren, aus meiner Sicht, etwas nachgelassen hat, so zeichnet er doch völlig ohne Frage verantwortlich für unzählige Klassiker des Rap. Seine Produktionen prägten HipHop, wie nur sehr wenige andere.

DJ A to the L hat ihm einen Tribute Mix gewidmet, der einen recht guten Überblick über Premos Katalog bietet. Natürlich fehlt immer noch etwas, doch bei 87 Songs in insgesamt 3 Stunden ist schon eine Menge dabei.
