Um den Stamm einer hundert Jahre alten Eiche herum wurde dieses wunderschöne kleine Baumhaus designt. Die Architekten des Atelier Lavit haben das Deisgnprojekt im Wald des Chateau de Raray, nördlich von Paris realisiert. Die Grundfläche beträgt 23 qm, auf denen es sich zumindest für eine Weile leben lässt.

ORIGIN is an exceptional cabin, a unique and tailor-made project. A hundred-year-old oak, one of the most beautiful and tall of the forest domain, was the starting point for the whole reflection: how to sublimate the tree? Creating around it a tailored wooden-dress.

The architectural challenge for Atelier LAVIT was to create a functional and comfortable hotel room, being faithful to the first inspiration of the project: a bird-nest. The design of the cabin, coupled with the construction techniques, led to a rationalization of the assembly logic of the branches collected by the birds to create their impregnable shelters.
