Sneaker Customizing liegt im Trend, doch nicht immer sieht es nachher besser aus als vorher. Team SBTG macht einen ziemlich guten Job, auch wenn das Ergebnis nicht immer ganz meine Tasse Tee ist.

Der Air force 1 ist in meinem Schuhregal so gut wie ausgestorben, er scheint allerdings eine gute Fläche zu Customization zu bieten. Mr. und Mrs Sabotage legen Fingerfertigkeit und Präzision mit dem Pinsel, die nicht weniger als beeindruckend ist.

Hypebeast hat die beiden besucht und ihnen bei der Arbeit am „AWOL Camo Pack„, einem AF1 und einem Huarache, über die Schulter geschaut. In ihrem haben Portfolio haben die beiden auch einige Vans, die ziemlich derbe sind. Die günstigeren Slipper sind bereits ausverkauft, wer zuschlagen möchte, muss nun 500$ oder mehr investieren.

For the latest installment of HYPEBEAST Process, we take a look at inside SBTG’s studio in Singapore. A prolific name in the sneaker customization field, SBTG, also known as Mark Ong, has been at the forefront of one-of-a-kind sneakers, known for his eye for precision and perfect execution. Inspired by his military background and punk rock, Ong’s designs often feature his trademark camouflage print. Carefully hand-painted with each precise swish of the brush, SBTG designs are some of the most coveted in the sneaker market. Recently, we teamed up with Ong on a set of limited edition customized kicks that were sold through the HYPEBEAST Store to much fanfare. Dubbed the „AWOL Camo“ pack, the iconic Nike Air Force 1 and Nike Air Huarache were given the SBTG touch. Take a look at the video above to see how it was all created.
